Chronic Pain

Musculoskeletal pain can be caused by bone, joint, or muscle disorders; tendon, ligament, or synovial bursae injuries; or a combination of the above. Injuries are the most frequent cause of this pain.

Bone pain can often feel deep, piercing, or dull. This is generally the result of an injury. Other less common causes include bone infection (osteomyelitis), endocrine disorders, and tumors.
