The hallux valgus, better known as a bunion, is a deviation of the first toe, this causes pain on the inside of the foot, especially when we wear tight shoes.

"It is important that you know that the use of finger separators or devices to push the finger, although they can help a little with the pain, these are not the definitive treatment since they do not prevent the progression of the deformity. The only definitive treatment is a small surgery where we correct the alignment of the finger."

- Dr. Luis Javier Garza Gutiérrez

Main Causes

Although many believe that the main cause is the use of heels, it has something to do with it, but the main cause is hereditary, if your grandmother or your mother has bunions, you are probably going to have them too.
